I agree although I think he will be sitting behind Creer for the first couple of years. Creer was our best back and def has NFL potential!

Going after ball players like Oku is great, heck we just might get him. But given this is coach K's 1st recruiting go around I feel a lot better about next fall, if we had JUCO's comin in. I'd guess they'd be easier to sway to coming than the average HS player, and you have a better veiw on their abilities. Our new staff's 2nd year will be easier recruiting after some success.

Oku is solid. He'll be a Vol.

I agree that this class is important to next year's success which in turn is important to next year's class. While it is still possible to pull a good class in, unless we have some progress to show recruits we are on the way back, it is going to be hard to pull in an elite class.

I think you will likely see us move away from recruiting the JuCo ranks in the future under Kiffin. Just an impression I get. But for sure, we are taking every JuCo player we can this year.

question. Can they sign before National Signing Day? I mean Oku said he is a solid verbal to us and why hold it off unless he can't sign now? I mean CLK could be there cheesin it up with him!

No, he can't sign until signing day. There is a big debate whether or not there should be an early signing period like basketball.

what you will see under CLK is freshman getting on the field, just like CPC did at USC

I have nicknames for Brown and Richardson, SLIM and NONE because that is how much of a chance we have at landing these guys.

well...now that we have all but one or two coaches left to officially sign on at least one should be on the phone to Oku to smooth things over.
