Game note: Hooker threw it flat-footed in that TD pass to Jones. He was talking after the game about working on his "foundation" over the summer which contributes to velocity. Think some of the flat-footed QB play is probably coached.

Does it matter? The point is you need a first round QB talent to win a national title now, and have for nearly a decade.

Or your team or system has to be good enough to get a qb drafted in the 1st. The only time Elliott has been great is when he's had a legit elite pro prospect. The point is other coaches have been able to do it where Elliott has not.
