The Official CoronaZoneVirus Thread

At this point herd immunity is out of the question. Viruses do what they do, mutate in order to survive as long as there’s host bodies, and there are.

Can you imagine if they did that because you was gay or black.

Its different. For purposes of mandated vaccines (per the EEOC), a business has to make "reasonable accommodations" for those with "sincerely held" religious beliefs.

If you convert to a religion that believes that Wednesday -Friday are holy days, your salaried office job doesn't have to keep you on if you can't work a Monday-Friday schedule since a reasonable accommodation may not exist much like an unvaccinated person in an industry with close customer interaction.

By the news reports, Tennessee is number 1 in infection right now, but yet no mask mandates for schools or anyone. Where the older population was mostly affected in the first wave, now it’s the younger ones. I think they want this as a means to herd immunity. IDK, obviously.

There is a mask mandate for schools in Shelby County.

This morning at church my pastor announced that Brother Snell, one of our members that hasn't been to church in several months passed away last night with covid. Just a few days after one of his daughters had died from it.

Tonight he announced the email he received was wrong.

Brother Snell is still alive although he is in bad shape and not expected to make it, but it was his other daughter that died last night. I can't imagine.

I didn't know these people well, just knew of them, but it's all around and getting too close to my hoola hoop.

The Snell family could use some prayers if you think about it. Mr. Snell especially.
He passed away at 4:30 today.

I appreciate it, but I didn't know him really. I just thought I'd post the info. About this time last year I don’t think I knew anyone that even had it. Now I know a bunch that has it, has had it and quite a few that's died from it. Crazy.

Pastor that was supposed to preach a revival here at my church next month called our preacher today, actually he told him about Snell, and him and his wife tested positive for it Friday. Smh.

My cousin in Nashville was a similar situation in that he tested positive on a Friday and died early on Monday morning, with apparently massive suffering.
It is crazy, as you say.

Tim Cable, who I posted about in the RIP thread was in ICU for weeks. From what I had heard from other mutual friends, he struggled the entire time with it.

If my two kids passed then I wouldn't want to live. This **** is crazy some people beat it you wouldn't expect then it takes out a hole family. A 39 year old I work with died 9 months ago his brother and Dad died from it. Very strange.

It's my understanding he didn't know about his 2 daughters passing. It all must have happened pretty quickly.

I'm not positive on those details, they're coming from the pastor that reported him dead when he wasn't. But the man and his 2 daughters passing is accurate.
