Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

Oh well .... 4th & an inch .... TN has zelch nothing ... ball goes over on downs.

You just almost have to laugh to stay sane watching TN football.

We looked like a young team today. Mental mistakes. We were obviously amped up for this game which is great but we didn't channel it well. We fought back and showed a lot of character which surprised me considering the mental side earlier. Losing Evans and Small hurt us. Losing Milton helped. We made good halftime adjustments again. TEs in 2nd half. Special teams did a great job all game. Turnovers are BIG concern.

Pitt QB looks like he's got a future in the pros.

Theo Jackson, Tyler Baron, Burrell are really good.

The run D look good. We were down a lot of good players and only have 71 scollies.
We are behind the 8 ball, but if they fight all season long like this, we might pull one out.
A Pruitt team would of been blown out IMO.

Pruitt would would have bumbled the start, been boring, and beaten badly.

Weird to say, but I like the improvement on the weak areas against BGSU. WRs much better. Milton put it on the money to Hyatt in Q1. The play calling and scheme was great. With good QB play, we get 21 points in 1st few minutes.

Milton has an arm, no question, but can't hit his open receivers for the homerun.
We should have been up 21 early if Milton hadn't over thrown his receivers.

Glad to see the guys fighting.

I have a cat that likes football - nothing else on TV seems to interest her. She watches from the floor until she can't stand it and then has to get up on the stand and start bashing people on the field. Finally had to eject her today for unsportsmanlike conduct - biting the officials. Not that I disagree with the sentiment sometimes - just not sure it's healthy for the TV.

Agreed. Still young and thin in a lot of areas. Different attitude with this team and its obvious from years past. They didn't quit and lay down.
