What's the source? There's been zero public announcement on this that I've been able to find other than people saying 'so and so heard/said it". Let's pump the brakes on the rumor's until we get verified info. I hope it's not true obviously. I have enough unnecessary stress in my life already lol

My assumption is Brice’s contacts at UT.

profootballfocus had him as the second leading rusher in week one. on his way to becoming to best back in the country. This new covid is ridiculously contagious. everyone who is not taking precautions will be exposed. If he's vax'd, he should be back soon, if not... we wait and see. could be long term.

I’ve been hanging out with Dee a little bit. He legit looks like Derrick Henry, I would love to see him ball out this weekend he looks the part.

Any truth to his absence from both depth charts so far being injury related?

UGA has a potentially bad situation. Without getting too specific - they've got a couple of positives that had ultra high access to the building and were in contact with a ton of players.
Heard this rumor. Good thing contact tracing isn’t a thing anymore.

Probably a stupid question here, but what authority does KCHD have to enforce it?

Let's see. They are the health authority for Knox County.

Tennessee is a state (not federal) institution.

The game is being played in Knox County.

Not saying I like it, but the law is the law, and the county health commissioners have primary enforcement authority.

A tough to win game may become unwinnable.

This sucks.

Hate it for Evans. Hopefully he has no complications and is back sooner rather than later.
That being said, an opportunity awaits for some other RB. The door is open, time to step through…………. GBO! 🍊🍊🍊

It will only be verified if the player makes it public. Coach/staff cannot identify players who have tested positive.

No vaccine rates for the team or staff that I could find have been released.
UT, of course, not required to release that info.
supposedly, Bama and Ole Miss said all players had been vaccinated. Then, Kiffin got it.
