UMass only played 4 games year and scored 12 points. They were shutout in 50% of their games last year.

In 2019, they played a full slate and only won one game.... against Akron. They gave up an average of 52.6 pts on defense in 2019. We aren't going to learn much about Pitt, just like we didn't learn much about our team this week.

I wonder how they choose him since he’s never played for them. They are loaded with other talent on defense. Coaches suggest it? It just makes me wonder how he immediately becomes an impact player.

Bama has busts just like everyone else. You don't hear about them because you don't follow Bama.

No other SEC fan knows who Preston Williams is, but we do.

They do have a higher than usual hit rate on their highly recruited players panning out. It helps that they are full of elite prospects but Saban is elite at identifying talent(players and coaches) and coaching them up to their potential. I hate Bama but there will never be another dynasty like theirs over the past 14 years.

BGSU played 5 games last year but were never shutout.

In 2019, BGSU's defense gave up an average of 38.6 pts per game. They won three games vs Akron, Morgan State, and Toldeo.

They're national championship good as always. I don't think they're so good, though, that a solid team can't look okay against them for a quarter or so. Miami has been embarrassed since the game started.
