A few noteworthy PFF grades from yesterday's game.

Evans 86.6
Cade 80.4
Simmons 91.9
Tremblay 85.0
Baron 82.7
Butler 81.1
AT 78.7

Has to be some of the highest grades I've seen them give our guys. The past few years usually went Trey Smith 84.0 then the next highest guy being in the 60's. Coaching has arrived boys.
I put about as much stock in PFF grades as I do abstract art valuations, but it's cool nonetheless.

He was beating his man all night…. I don’t know why you wouldn’t….
JJ and his 5.7 40 ran by DBs all the time. It isn't just straight speed all the time to get separation.

If Tillman runs a legit 4.5, he has the physical tools of a 1st round receiver. But there ain't no way lol.

Late to party but I had to put in my thoughts, even though I’m still reading from page 46.
Neyland was rocking and it was so great being back out at the stadium and seeing all the fans. My overall thoughts are that Miton needs to be quicker with his reads and our WRs can’t be dropping passes. I was hopeful we would score more points but honestly I really thought this team did well. I think Milton will put it all together and we will be dangerous on the back half of the season.

Also want to add that I really think this coaching staff is going to be great. They made some good adjustments in the second half.

Someone pointed out heupels moobs. Have to say-they r gross. If I were a heisman level qb, making good money…Figure it out. Work out. Hire someone. Worst case-aesthetics.
lol or you’re a national champion QB who’s now making millions coaching at a traditionally top 10 program and you don’t GAF what the plebes think

I know this is probably the 'norm' for a college football coaching staff, but I think it's pretty impressive all the same. I think we've heard better than expected efforts with the recruiting level so far based on some of the stuff posted on here from the various websites, it's easy to see why based on this. Every coach on the road today!

I feel like Butch benefited from a lot of legacy momentum and highly rated kids that increased the overall class ranking and led to a higher than average bust percentage. And we all know it was all a fraud with the Gump's fool's gold methodology. And that idiot Dooley took a flamethrower to everything, alienating both High Schools and VFL's alike. So I, for one, am thrilled at the prospect of a coaching staff that is putting in the time to mend relationships, re-connect to our history, and get kids who fit the system regardless of ranking. That's how you build a solid foundation. Couple big time gets this year, along with hitting the portal for impact transfers, and the 2023 cycle may be the start of the climb out of this mess.
Hopefully yes but 2023 in state has about half the number of blue chip prospects as 2022 and we’ve already lost the bell cow of that cohort. 2022 was crucial.
