Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I am sure that's correct. I think you would also agree you shouldn't go buy the freaking pills for horses and take that yourself. Which is what I believe the CDC and others are asking Americans to stop doing.
Come on, that's Darwin Award material.

However, labeling a medication used in humans for decades that saves an immense number of lives, is extremely safe, has proven antiviral activity, has shown impressive potential in treatment of COVID-19, and has been administered widely in other countries as "horse dewormer" is -- quite simply -- dumb as $#!+.

Once again, nearly all medications used in veterinary medicine are the same compounds used in humans. Antibiotics, pain medications, antidepressants, antihistamines, insulin, steroids, antihypertensives, diuretics . . . Same stuff.

Oh I agree. It's dumb as heck for them to be demonized. It's also dumb as heck to buy vet medicine.

I don’t think anybody is disagreeing hill. If your dr says to use it and prescribes it then address it with your doctor. But if your doctor won’t prescribe it don’t go to Tractor Supply and self dose.

Right now, we have a race on our hands between the tyrants and their mask/lockdown/vaccine mandates and the truth. Now more people are speaking about natural immunity...

Pfizer Board Member Warns Policymakers: "Natural Immunity" Needs to Be Included In COVID Mandate Plans | ZeroHedge

“The balance of the evidence demonstrates that natural immunity confers a durable protection,” Gottlieb said during a Monday morning TV interview, referring to a landmark new preprint Israeli study that found prior COVID-19 infection confers much more protection against the virus than any vaccine.

Why are you explaining this to these clowns? They know this already.

So she thinks that new nurse ( I won’t say graduates because in many places during the pandemic pre graduates were allowed to practice) will be able to serve as well as tenured nurses. Yep and as a new graduate engineer I knew everything that needed to be known

So it’s in the same category as Ivermectin in your opinion?
Sorry, not following.

MAb is an invasive treatment requiring either IV access or four injections, monitoring after infusion, costs well over $1000/dose, and does carry some risk of serum sickness-type reaction.

Ivermectin is a tablet that costs a few dollars and has no serious side effects when dosed appropriately.

I'm not recommending either treatment for a particular case or patient, here, just correcting some terrible misinformation that has, quite obviously, been fueled by the MSM (and likely a deeper, more nefarious source).

you pretty well explained it.
Both worthy of future study and application. Neither a miracle cure. Both have their place in treatment.

To be consistent I’d still like to see more information and study on Plaquenil.
I’ve read a bunch information on it but nothing conclusive. I know of Drs still writing it. The Red Woman is on it for one of her issues. And nobody in her National support group that is on it has gotten Covid. (Yet. Fingers crossed hopefully that continues)
I get that it’s antidotal but I believe it worthy of future study

There's nothing Karen about trying to stay alive. At 88, the professor was doing a service for the University to fill in a needed class position. You see how little you put up with at 88.

"The 88-year-old psychology professor explained to the student that he could die from COVID-19 due to underlying health conditions such as Type 2 diabetes, hypertension and age-related problems, Bernstein said in an email to The Red & Black."
And to that point he had been exposing himself. Masks clearly arent a pancea. So there is no guarentee if this kid wore a mask that the prof wouldnt get Covid.

If he was that worried he should have retired as soon as he knew he was teaching in person.

HCQ is essentially Plaquenil.

Ever had ringworm or pinkeye? Same damn meds for humans as cows. Is penicillin a cow antibiotic?

Sure these drugs are used in both animals and humans. I was merely pointing out that buying the pill that was specifically designed for a horse, sheep, goat, or any nonhuman and ingesting it to self medicate would make one a moron. Even kiddie doc said that would make you a Darwin Award winner. Yet people are doing it. I have no problem with a doctor prescribing anything they think their patient needs to recover.

But the problem is you are talking about a handful of people doing this and everyone in MSM jumping on board and acting like every doctor or patient involved with the drug is some right wing lunatic. It’s straw men set up by liberals vaccine nuts. Just like the bleach myth was
