Coronavirus (No politics)

I actually contracted the Delta Variant...3 months after my vaccination?

However, I had the symptoms off and on since before my vaccination. It took me 4 days to get over it...more or less. But how long did I really have it? 1 week or 5 months?
And there's still no cure. So what's to stop this thing from "flaring" up everytime your immune system gets weakened? Did you know the government doesn't require a RETEST to resume responsibility (work) after getting a positive test AFTER 10 days quarantine? Why...? Because you'd just as likely test positive again. And you could effectively never go back to work if that system was in place.

Truthfully, I think the powers that be are tired of losing money. Remember last year, when Saban magically got a negative test? Then you saw him all game long less than his normal self. He had it...

It's not going anywhere. So I think you won't see a repeat of last year. You'll just have a bunch of kids playing games while having the virus...
Glad you've recovered. There are actually some effective treatments. They've been a big part of reducing the fatality rate over the last year among first time infections.

Did you have it previous to your vaccination? If not, can you keep me updated on whether you get it again?

I had Covid in January and have been subjected to all the vaccine propaganda everyone else has. But doing a little research I found that the immunity I have from having had Covid is different and likely better than the vaccines. Israel tests for Covid on a broad scale. A few months ago a "sweep" found 7000 Covid cases with a range of symptom severity. About 40% of the detected infections were fully vaccinated. Only 1% were reinfections of people who had previously recovered.

Something I learned recently is that the Covid vaccines are what is known as "leaky" or imperfect vaccines. They don't make anyone 100% immune. They reduce your risks of contracting Covid from a particular exposure. So if you previously would have had a 1 in 10 chance of getting it in a certain situation... the vaccine reduces it to 1 in 60. Maybe the best benefit of the vaccines is that those who get them do not suffer as many deaths or severe cases.... though I know some people who got much sicker than I did after being vaccinated.

Another study of natural immunity suggests that it may well be a "perfect vaccination". That means people with naturally acquired antibodies are 100% immune from being infected.... and it may last for life. So reinfections would only occur in the 1% who for some reason did not acquire immunity to start with.

I am a little surprised that CDC isn’t recommending measuring your antibody levels prior to deciding whether to get a booster. If your levels of antibodies are high, you can wait. If they are low, then you are a candidate for a booster.

Literally, there is more of a chance of a lightning strike death of a child at the game than one from Covid. C'mon guy. Geez

Might want to check the stats on that statement.

2020-2021 deaths 0-4 age: lightning - 0, COVID 141
2020-2021 deaths 5-18 ages: lightning - 4, COVID 313

Delta can be squashed.
Look at Denmark.
Denmark will on September 10th stop classifying Covid-19 as an "illness which is a critical threat to society", meaning all remaining special pandemic restrictions will expire, the country’s health minister Magnus Heunicke said that the high level of vaccination in Denmark, particularly among the vulnerable, had radically altered the risks posed by the virus.

The epidemic is under control, we have record high vaccination rates,” he said in a statement. “As a result, on September 10th, we can drop some of the special rules we have had to introduce in the fight against Covid-19.”

Coworker of mine just got back from a trip to Mexico. I haven’t asked her what city she was in, but she said that most everybody she saw, whether they were out jogging or going to the store, had on a mask. Stores would only let one person per family or group come in to shop, and there were sanitation stations at most every business. Hand sanitizing and shoe sanitizing as well. I said, “Well obviously. Don’t you watch the news? All of their unmasked, disease carrying citizens are illegally crossing our borders.” 🙄

Then there is Iceland,a country with no covid because everyone has been vaccinated. The immunity from infection provides you protection against that strain Vaccination protects against several strains. And please be aware that the scientist who developed these vaccines didn't start this line of work a couple months back, actually you might say they are experts .

I think we are at least a year away from that imo. Covid panic is still very much a thing. Give it another year and people will learn to cope better with the reality that covid isnt going anywhere.

The early evidence says it provides immunity in a similar way to the vaccines- by triggering an immune response that creates a "memory"... except that it does it better. The delta variant is alive and well in our area. As of yesterday, our local health department reports that over the last several weeks about 87% of new confirmed cases have been unvaccinated, first timers. About 12% of those sick enough to seek a doctor have been fully vaccinated. Less than 1% including those exposed to the Delta variant have been reinfections.

Vaccination protects against several strains. And please be aware that the scientist who developed these vaccines didn't start this line of work a couple months back, actually you might say they are experts .
Yes. Who are on someone's payroll and tasked with... you guessed it... producing a vaccine. That's it. Not proving any of the stuff you're trying to claim. They leave that to others. The very IDEA of a vaccine is to produce an artificial immune response in the body. As soon as the variants began to be known, we didn't get reports that the vaccines were being modified to the new strains. We got assurances that they were effective against the variants.

And while you're at it... maybe explain how the supposed "experts" can claim that "we don't have evidence" concerning the durability of natural immunity which has been around and present in people since the first ones had it and recovered... but they have evidence that vaccines are effective and will last even though the first vaccines went out about 8 months ago? That's deception. You don't need a medical degree to recognize it.

Any time you don't understand someone's motives... follow the money. Natural immunity makes pharma nothing. Fauci and the other politicians in DC don't get to claim credit or play the hero. The vaccines make them about $50/person. The revenues are already up to about $10 billion and I believe they got grants to develop them, right? In return, these top "health care experts" will get lucrative grants and speaking opportunities.

Oh, it has been a KNOWN danger of "leaky vaccines" since long before Covid that they contribute to the development of more virulent strains of the virus they're supposed to protect us against. When written, the article below was boring to anyone except medical academics. Now it is VERY relevant to the vaccines they're trying to impose on everyone. Note the date. It is NOT tainted by anyone's narrative on Covid.

Caleb Wallace.
30yo - Wife - 3 kids - TX.

He organized "Freedom Rally" against masks, vaccines & restrictions.

He caught COVID, then tried treating himself w/ivermectin, aspirin & vitamins.

He's now intubated, unresponsive & not expected to survive.

I’m sorry for his little girls and wife but it’s hard to have sympathy for him. Wouldn’t take the vaccine but tried self treating with a horse dewormer. And these no-rona bros laugh at people wearing a mask by themself in their car 🤦‍♂️

From the same data pool

Men age 30-50 in England
3 in 100 who get Covid and are not vaccinated die.
1 in 950 who get Covid and are vaccinated die.

Plus I just read yesterday that the UK is only around 63% vaccinated. Not sure where they are getting 80%.

When people start playing the percentage game it’s usually spin. and half the time made up. I prefer to look at the actual numbers and in context.
I searched before I responded to you and right now you can find that England has anywhere from 57-82% vaccinated…..depending on who is reporting….or making **** up.

I regularly wear a mask by myself in a truck……because I forget I’m wearing it. I’ve been doing that for years as I’m in construction and wear masks almost every day. At least now I look stupid because people think I’m scared of the pandemic. Before Covid people would think I’m just nuts.

A few times I would start driving away with my mask on. Just lost in thought and forgot to take it off.
