I knew Kiffin's offense was hot, but...

I have. It's a fantastic and tragic film and one of Gene Hackman's best performances! All the performances were great.
The movie was fairly accurate in the depictions, using just a little cinematic license. The actual reporter who sparked the renewed investigations is one of my college buddies. Jerry Mitchell. He has made such an impact in MS and US culture by being relentless. Read about him here. Jerry Mitchell (reporter) - Wikipedia

I thought Kiffin was a good coach the year he was here. But, he does not seem to be a big time HC that can win championships. In the NFL ( he was young and immature) where talent is equal, he could not win, at Tenn he was ok considering our talent level, at USC who was loaded he failed, at FAU he was pretty good. Seems he is a middle pack coach when others have high level talent. Just fair when competing with other talented teams.
Some coaches are good at building programs, others are good at sustaining. Time will tell with Ole Miss. I am speaking about being HC
Have you heard him lately? He’s a different guy. Has really found himself and totally comfortable in his role. It pains me to say it, but we should have hired him back.

I truly don't get the portion of our fanbase that still idolizes him. It's like being in love with a stripper who drugged you, stole your kidney and left you in the bathtub of a seedy hotel.

Honestly, and I’ve thought about this, he was the “cool” dude and “cool” guys relate to each other. The ones that don’t are different or they harbor ill will towards him because he replaced Fulmer; hence, Fulmerites.

Don't flatter yourselves, it's not very cool, cool guys, lol.

Heupel has proven that he is just as good as Kiffin as a coach, and arguably better, depending on how you view their head to head matchups.

Lord knows : The man has burnt enough bridges in his past! Oakland Raiders, UT, USC, Saban's OC, 1 year at FIU..... He's runs his mouth like Spurrier -- without the wins!....
It was FAU, not FIU. And he was there for three seasons, not one.

Well, for one, he almost beat Bama albeit a blocked field goal, haven't seen anyone come close in a long time. He can coach and got more out of our guys than anyone else lately. Say what you want but beating Ole Miss this year won't be easy, especially if they find a defense.

Lincoln wasn’t healthy and had missed a couple other FGs earlier that day. That is why Kiffy playing for the FG at the end was so stupid. After the pass to Stocker, he should have gone for the end zone.

I remember after the game, Kiffin said he played for the field goal because he was afraid of getting a phantom penalty if he tried to run another offensive play. He said every time during that game that they got into the red zone, a flag magically flew out of no where. I'm pretty sure he was fined after saying that as well.

That was 1fg I knew had no chance before it was kicked. Kid was hurt. It wasn’t fair to him.

Kiffin has a good chance to replace Jerry Springer....or be on it.

This post made me ask myself, "Is Jerry Springer still on the air?" I looked it up and I can't believe it lasted until 2018. That's just insane to me. I remember watching a few episodes in like 2000, but 28 seasons and over 4000 episodes? I never knew.
