I knew Kiffin's offense was hot, but...

Isn't that the second place that caught fire while Kiffin was around? Seems like the other was a stadium he was visiting, or... I don't remember.

The man is a walking, talking (smart-talking) dumpster fire, heh.

Yeah, but he took over a dumpster fire program that the previous coach ran into the ground and had a winning season and bowl appearance the very next year.

Then, moved on to another program and was fired then got not one but two more head coaching jobs; second of which is in the SEC. The thing about this is the coach he took over for that ran the program into the ground never coaches again.

Say what you want to about CLK but the guy can coach!

I am guessing he was having to burn some evidence of recruiting violations and it got away from him.

I thought Kiffin was a good coach the year he was here. But, he does not seem to be a big time HC that can win championships. In the NFL ( he was young and immature) where talent is equal, he could not win, at Tenn he was ok considering our talent level, at USC who was loaded he failed, at FAU he was pretty good. Seems he is a middle pack coach when others have high level talent. Just fair when competing with other talented teams.
Some coaches are good at building programs, others are good at sustaining. Time will tell with Ole Miss. I am speaking about being HC

Was Layla heating things up?
After Layla divorced him for hitting on all the
co-Ed’s he could find, Lane said he had embraced religion . He then put on a lot of weight. Don’t know what’s going on with his big or little head these days. Don’t care. I just want him to beat Bama and then come to Knoxville and lose to us.

I truly don't get the portion of our fanbase that still idolizes him. It's like being in love with a stripper who drugged you, stole your kidney and left you in the bathtub of a seedy hotel.

Un my theory is it is somehow Biblical, When it comes to Kiffin, some UT fans have Hosea syndrome. Either that or jilted girlfrienditis.

What is the infatuation, not only with board members on here, but across the college football landscape, with Lane ****ing Kiffin?
Well, for one, he almost beat Bama albeit a blocked field goal, haven't seen anyone come close in a long time. He can coach and got more out of our guys than anyone else lately. Say what you want but beating Ole Miss this year won't be easy, especially if they find a defense.
