Vince doesn't realize just how out of touch he's become.
That's why I don't understand all the cuts that WWE have made unless they are indeed angling to sell. They've let some good talent go. I mean, they've mismanaged a lot of that talent, but it was still good talent. Their biggest problem has always been developing what they have.I told my buddies he's probably backstage grinning thinking he actually topped AEW getting Punk. When in reality it's not even close. Becky and Brock are cool but like yeah it's not been 7 years since either last wrestled. I guess they don't really have a ton of options if Austin didn't want one last match. But that's their own fault for not creating as many new stars as they could of over the years.![]()

We're probably not the most objective audience on that frankly. Bianca is a Vol after all. But pulling a squash after her "WrestleMania Moment" this year makes WWE look desperate. If Becky is ready to come back, have a short, but real match. If not, just roll with Brock. It really sucks that an otherwise solid card and fun ending (Brock returning was cool) was still sullied by what they did to Bianca. Maybe it shouldn’t. I’m 28 years old and should probably stop getting mad at a 76 year old and his booking decisions on a wrestling show. But it still does![]()

Has anyone else considered, if Flair does sign with AEW, they're Ole Anderson away from having the original Four Horsemen?Bingo. WWE isn't lacking talent. They're lacking direction and effort. Has been the case for a long time. It is what it is. As long as they make a killing in money, they won't put much effort into things. They'll get by on the "big name" main events that casuals and the die hard loyalist will eat up instead of putting effort into the entire card and building new stars. They don't care about that stuff. Sad but reality.
Where's AEW has Punk come back, a huge name that hasn't wrestled in SEVEN years. And who's his first feud with? Jericho? Omega? Moxely? Nooo because those guys are established. Freaking Darby was already a future star but this one match solidifies him. We can get the Punk vs Omega in due time, sure and it'll be awesome. But it's so cool how AEW has stars from the 80s, 90s, 00s, 2010s, and 2020s and use them all well. Just a tip of my hat to them.
I'm guilty of wanting all wrestling to be awesome. But hey AEW is nearly there. I'd like to see them put more focus on their women's division, but other than that. Very happy with their product. It's refreshing to have another option now, so I can bitch about WWE without getting too sad![]()
