Boring stuff, which I absolutely appreciate. Especially after staying up most of the night last night and will tonight. I’m sure in my early 20’s, I was a maybe expert on it, weren’t we all? Old people are doing okay, but I worry about mom. I’ll maybe get into that at some point, just not now. I’ve been reading up on food stuff and looking for a half way decent movie to watch. Not that easy when you’re looking for something that holds your interest but let’s you not have to concentrate on it too hard, (exactly why I enjoy old movie). You guys doing okay?

Well we’ve been a couple of days without a JayBird incident. The Red Women and I are looking for a new series to watch.

When you encounter a stick of butter randomly placed in a cabinet, I’m here for you buddy. Seriously, y’all try to enjoy the non ‘heads being on a swivel’ moments. They happen less and less.

I’m an A’s fan, but the Cardinals rookie team was in JC my whole life until they ended the Appalachian League last year. I even worked as PA Announcer/Media Relations for the JC team for four years. Mike Shildt (current St. Louis Cards skipper) was skipper of the JC Cards my last two years. He got my buddy and I family tickets for three games against the Dodgers before I shipped for basic. So long story short, even though I don’t believe in having a “second pro team”, the Cards are the closest I get to breaking that rule. And in all honesty, I probably do break it. So, to summarize, the Cubs suck.

also, what is that gif from? Is that Kenny Mayne in the background?

That's really weird, I thought the same thing the first time I watched it, but I don't know what it's from. I'm pretty neutral on the A's, although I pull for them whenever they're in the playoffs. And yes, currently, the Cubs suck.

We’re pretty horrified that the Asheville Tourists (all single A of us) are now in the Houston organization. I was mostly meh about feeding the Rockies, but Houston? 🤮

Gross. But at least you still have the team! I used to love Appy league games. Now they’re some under classmen collegiate summer wooden bat league. Friends that went this year said it was enjoyable, but not the same.
