It always amuses me how the same guys that shout you down for being realistic\pessimistic, are the same ones that start screaming for coaches heads as soon as things don't go as swimmingly as they think it was going to.

The Masters shirts that you buy at the tournament isn’t the clubs “official” logo. The official logo has a circle around it. You can’t buy it at the tournament

I think the marketing value of most of these kids is borderline nil. I do think it is a fun way for local businesses to show some support for the program.

Big-name players will clean up for sure. For most, it will be hyper-local deals with small businesses. Finding product / player alignments that make sense will not be easy, but maybe it won't matter so much on a small stage.

I bet a lot of local business owners will do it for fun and a bit of access to the program. It's also a fine way to lure a highly touted recruit to a program. "Hey kid, we want you to be our product evangelist! Call me back. It's Bob at Greater Tuscaloosa Mercedes!"

My daughter just turned 12 this week and is on the middle school softball team and we watched this movie with her for the first time a couple of weeks ago. She liked the movie except the line "you play ball like a girl" lol. She said "hey! Me and my team could beat those chumps like 15-2!" It was a great moment lol

Funny enough...AP has actually played Augusta National. I remember several years back he was able to cover The Masters for a local station. If you're a media member covering the tournament, you can be in a random drawing to play a round right after the tournament, so a lot of those folks have their clubs in their car so they're ready for that. He ended up being one of the lucky ones. He wasn't shy about sharing that with everyone online.

I do wonder if he has bad hands and that's why he hasn't been moved to WR or TE. If that's the case, and he can't find a way on the field at RB, then defense may be his spot. They're running out of time to make use of him if he needs to be on defense.
