Ever notice how easily these guy made their fortunes, and as they reach the ends of their lives instead of turning it over to heirs they’re choosing to “give it away” almost like they’re just propped up figureheadsLots of people strike it rich without digging. I bet Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates never dig. Total geeks, but rich.
He’s worth $130 billion, I grew what you’d think would be his biggest asset would be his “business mind” which you’d think he’d attempt to impart on at least one heir. Even Joe Biden is trying to pass his skills to Hunter.More assets than just cash.
Has anyone else tried to get a vehicle into the shop for service lately? I called my Ford dealer to get my F150 worked on and the guy I talked to said he would have to send my "request" over to scheduling, and they would call me back later today or tomorrow and it would be 2 to 3 weeks before they could work me in. The guy also told me it would be at least an overnight job. I told him I had a Ford extended warranty that provided same day rental car coverage and that set him further back into retreat saying they don't have any cars available and rentals are few and far between.
I have another car to drive so I don't care how long they keep it, but 2 to 3 weeks to get into a stealership?
Need to water it longer but less frequently. Shorter daily waterings don't grow the roots. Deeper waterings with space between force the grass to grow longer roots to get to the water deeper in the dirt.@landscapingvol just a follow-up to a conversation we had about filling in low spots and around the foundation of my house. I talked to a landscaping company and they want to come by my house but think I probably needs something like red lava rock.
A couple of other things (1) yes, I've been growing fescue. That explains why my grass struggles in hot weather. I hadn't looked up the difference between that and bermuda until you mentioned it. I've already heard grow one or the other. (2) finally this year I had to turn on my irrigation system that I had not gotten spring ready in years. It was making a difference in the fullness of my yard but now I remember why I kept it off. My water bill jumped up about $275. I could cut down usage but I'm turning it off for now. I expect another head busting bill this month.
Was able to schedule routine stuff no issue. I always prefer to go early in the day though.Has anyone else tried to get a vehicle into the shop for service lately? I called Ted Russell on Parkside which is where I bought it and after a day have yet to hear back. I think I'll call a smaller dealer like Lenoir City Ford and give them a shot. I really, really don't like Ted Russell Ford anyway. We are 4 weeks out from an appt which is usually scheduled within the week we call (oil change, tire rotation, etc). Yes, I could do it myself, but why bother when it is $40 and rotating tires is a PIA at home. Normally the service coordinator answers the phone and it gets scheduled right away, but this time we got the "they will return your call" as well, which they never did so we had to call back. Not sure what the issue is. Location is Knoxville.
