Can we put aside all the weird divisive stuff and just go with what science (=logic and stuff we can reason through) tells us that we need to do? So yes, put the freaking masks back on for the vaccinated folk, and for everyone else, GET YOUR FREAKING VACCINATIONS?
Geeze, people.
And if you have some super special reason why you shouldn’t get vaccinated, then fine, things do happen, stay home and wear a mask if you have to go out.

We’re out of lockdown, but now a resident is quarantined after a family member visited in the room without a mask and then became sick (tested positive.)We are going back in full lockdown tomorrow morning. One of my servers has tested positive. I’ll have to have the rapid test in morning because I’ve been around him the last few days, even though I’ve been vaccinated. Dammit, why can’t this crap end?
We were out of lockdown also. At a local nursing home, 6 fully vaccinated residents tested positive and another nursing home close in Rhea County, have 3 fully vaccinated residents tested positive. Our county hospital beds are full because of the positives. This is so frustrating. Such a roller-coaster of emotions from last year to now.We were out of lockdown also. I‘m thinking of just dragging my mother to Walgreens and getting her a booster. I know it’s get ready to be formally approved, but damn. Buncombe County’s case rate is still better than many others, and the hospital is ok for now, but the increase in the rate is stupefying. We were out of lockdown also. Well, the numbers for breakthrough infections are still way lower than for unvaccinated, but yeah, Delta has changed a lot of plans.I’m going out on a limb here, I don’t believe the “experts” anymore and really didn’t to begin with. Believe me, I’ve read up on this for since December 2019. Information keeps changing on this. I made my own decision to take the vaccine because of whom I’m around on a daily basis. This crap isn’t going anywhere, vaccinated or not, and I don’t know who to blame anymore.
The booster is supposed to be ready to be administered to the ones that have autoimmune deficiencies.I‘m thinking of just dragging my mother to Walgreens and getting her a booster. Stay safe, and I hope your test is negative.
