Well ladies and gents...my oldest started 1st grade this morning. Time flies so damn quick. My wife took a cool pic this morning...thought I would share it...made me tear up when she showed it to me.

Mine starts first grade next week. Time flies man.
That’s awesome. My son started 1st grade at a new school today.. I’ve been more nervous than him
I remember that so well, marching off with their little backpacks strapped on. Then you blink and the next thing you know, you’re moving them into college. Enjoy this time.

Not quite all the way there for me. My oldest is starting her Junior year next Monday and my younger two started 7th and 8th respectively. We just wrote a check for a car for my oldest (she is paying for it, but we fronted her the money). Life flies by in a blink.

I despise free agency in college Athletics and I don’t want to see HenryT play meaningful minutes at Bama and just the same I don’t want to see Milton or Herndon play for us.

Put me firmly on team Bailey/Maurer
So if it's not either one of them, then what? Just get behind whomever wins...stop picking sides

No no no...you are doing it wrong. We want all good transfers to here to kill it and we are 100% for free agency. If somebody leaves from here we don't want them to ever see a meaningful snap and free agency is bad for college football.

I havent thought ab Henry T once since he left. I really dont care how he does at all.

I don’t blame him for transferring to AL. He signed with Tennessee and the program failed him. Hopefully at AL, he’ll salvage his draft stock. He’s a good kid. Tennessee needs to get it’s house in order so recruits want to come here and stay here.

Unfortunately this is absolutely true.

I would prefer he never play a down at bama and went undrafted.

I do blame him. He was only here for the money. If he was a true Vol he wouldn't have gone to Bama.

He was a Vol and was here to make it to the NFL, and Pruitt responded by making an insurance salesman his position coach.

I hate to break it to you, but if "in it for the money" bothers you, you need to find a new sport ASAP. The best players have always been about the money, but it's about to be so out in the open that not even our most naive fans will be able to deny it.

We have to do the right things to earn that kind of loyalty from kids from other states…. We had been failing miserably at that….. hopefully, DW and JH are starting to change that.

Hardly any mention of Maurer in the practice notes today. This is not a total shock, but I would say he is behind Bailey/Hooker/Milton as of right now.

My 10month old started daycare today, after being home with her mom and I everyday while we both worked from home and looked after her. It’s the weirdest thing to not hear cooing away in the next room and being able to focus entirely on work for the first time in about a year.

I hate one and done teams in hoops and similarly I see this free agency in football as a huge factor is my interested level in vol football falling dramatically. I’ve never been a casual fan of vol football but it’s coming close to that level for me now

You mean the place made him a freshmen all American and all SEC player? GTHO.

Why are we still giving mental bandwidth to what HT did or does in the future? Just doesn't make sense to me. If I were to be bitter about any of the guys that left it would be Gray and Lawrence because they're TN kids.

Beyond, "I hope we toast him on some slants, Beckwith runs through him, and Evans breaks his ankles when we play Bama," I just don't care if he has a good/bad season or where/if he gets drafted. He's gone, and right now living rent-free in a bunch of heads.

understand the sentiment, but i think he earned those accolades in spite of his situation here, not because of it. he had a bagman for a position coach, after all. i'm bummed he left, but my feelings about all of it pretty much end there.

Yep, it definitely flies by, don't take anything for granted and try and enjoy all of it--- I watched my oldest son walk across the stage this weekend graduating from college...
