Not very often. For those who have watched his film, how often is Milton a runner? He seems like he's got the body to be really effective as a rusher.
Did Heupel rush qbs very often at UCF?
Quickest release AND really strong armJoe Milton raised a lot of eyebrows on the day – and not just because of his physical make up. The newcomer displayed great mechanics, the quickest release and a really strong arm.

100%Really excited to see how the QBs develop a under CJH. Both Butch and Pruitt emphasized minimizing mistakes. I think that is not a great mindset and was particularly bad for JG and Maurer. CJH seems to emphasize making plays, which is a more productive approach to offense and QB play, IMO.
I actually hate the practice reports - gets my hopes up and they are always dashed.Listen I'm excited to hear all the practice notes because it's getting close to game time, but we've heard the same shi* for the past 14 year.
JG was a monster in practice and Dobbs sucked in practice.
Part of that is just bad coaches.I actually hate the practice reports - gets my hopes up and they are always dashed.

I wish we didn't hear a peep and just started with game 1.
The practice heros never turn out.
Truth. And by game 6 we're always "I'll never believe those practice reports again!" And here we areI actually hate the practice reports - gets my hopes up and they are always dashed.

Hard to get athletic blind imo. The athletic guys, like Dobbs, rarely get to showcase their elusiveness and improvisation abilities until the lights turn on. The whole process really favors the purest dropback guys.I really think that is so..I just hope he doesn't get practice and athletic talent blind.
His style - the Briles style of practice - is the closest thing to real games you can come to. They go a hundred miles an hour, as one should practice any game.Part of that is just bad coaches.
If CJH is running practices that have zero translation to the games, he will be gone in short order, too.
And this time we're hoping we actually have coaches that can do something with the talent they have. We will have to wait until game time to find out. Meanwhile, it is nice to hear we have some talent despite the mass exodus of players and the doom of reporters.Listen I'm excited to hear all the practice notes because it's getting close to game time, but we've heard the same shi* for the past 14 year.
