LSU just lost QB

LSU just lost their most experienced QB, Brennan, at least for a while (no timeline yet) due to "severe arm injury" and upcoming surgery.

He was going into season in competition with Max Johnson, who looked good at end of season after Brennan got hurt last year.

At this time, only other schol. QB is frosh Nussmeier, never taken a snap in college.

Yup. Stat wise Brennan looks like kind of a mini-beast, but Max just has all the tools. Max looked very similar to Burrow by the end of the 2018 season. Max also played without Marshall and Arik the last two games. Brennan wouldn't have won that Florida game.

They better get Nussmeier some reps asap. Not sure if they will have chance to in that 1st game at UCLA.
