make all jokes you like (im sure you will), hate it for the US National Club, I know its dissapointing. Political statements aside (dumb as they all are).

Yeah it sucks, but they can still get bronze.

Read earlier that a woman's team has never followed up a WC title with an olympic gold. It's just that hard to do. Our team's best are also aging out some. It was an elite run though with lots of great memories of domination. Cheers to the ladies.

Now if we could just get the men from beating Mexico for CONCACAF titles to getting deeper in the WC (and qualify to begin with lol)... The future looks bright though. And I have no doubt the women's team will have fresh blood sooner than later...curious if the new coach sticks though...

Yeah I wish indoor soccer was more popular professionally. Traditional non-soccer fans would love that. Constant action, high scoring, and more physically. It's similar to hockey in how its played schematically, but the hits aren't as hard (because you don't play with pads and helmets).
Played a season in Knoxville off of Watt Rd. Spent years playing basketball, church leagues as an adult. Figured a smaller soccer field indoors would be no issue. Holy crap was I wrong. Still remember walking off to the bench seeing stars. Gave me a new respect for soccer players. The cardio required is next level. It's like a HiiT class that feels like it will never end.

I was already working out here and there for a few months... but I've been hitting the gym really hard since my break up. Got creatine, protein powder, and all that good stuff. Anything else y'all would recommend? Maybe fish oil or some other supplement?
Tren helps

The smaller games seem like they'd be easier but they aren't. 11v11 is easier than a 5v5. I play 5v5 right now and it can kick your butt. But 11v11 has opportunities to catch your breath without being a giant liability. 5v5 doesn't.

One thing I didn't agree with in CBJ's offense was the reliance on "athletes in space" - often horizontal space.

I think it can be a great philosophy in HS and lower CFB tiers (or if you just have the elite of elite athletes - like a Kamara generational type). At those levels your quick, shifty athletes have a huge advantage over LBs, safeties, some DBs in open space. In a league like the SEC, they swarm with their elite defensive speed and usually shut it down.

Hype is looking to get vertical. Get the defense out of place, stress their LBs and safeties in decision making, then hopefully run right by them either as a receiver or RB. This seems like a superior scheme vs the elite defensive speed in the SEC that has no problem running sideline to sideline and swarming.

Excercise/working out is good, but you wont see major changes if you dont change your diet (if you dont eat healthy already)

Get in touch with God, friend.

Yeah to be clear, I think there’s a decent chance this year’s roster is more talented than Butch’s first roster. My only point was that the recruiting star rankings of the roster likely isn’t a good indicator of overall team talent. A chunk of those guys have been playing below their high school rankings for a while, thus the 3-7 debacle in 2020, etc. etc.

Time will tell though - maybe I’m wrong and we’ve quietly got one of the more talented rosters in the SEC. Nothing I’ve seen on Saturdays the past few years makes me think that’s true but we will see.

Not going after you or anyone in particular.

I am looking at the coaching talent…clearly head and shoulders above any of butch’s crew. Therefore the players will also be better.

True but we needed speed pretty bad. UF has blown past our guys for about 15 years now.
