I'm not disagreeing, simply stating that in our current society, everything is caught up in being "woke". It's a sad state of affairs.

The term is completely detached from its original meaning and purpose, at this point. Not even meant for non-black folks. It was about being aware of all the shiz their community dealt with and spreading said awareness within their community...ie "stay woke". The anti-woke folks don't seem aware of what it even means. Just "anything culturally I grit my teeth at".

Comedy should be unbound by correctness I agree. Has zero to do with the term "woke". Absolutely zero.
