Riley has 2nd best BA among 3B (Turner), 3rd best WAR of 3.0 (Devers, Machada,Ramirez), 3rd most total bases(Devers, Arenado), makes league minimum for pre-arb players and has similar stats as Arenado/$35M and Ramirez/$9.4M, Bregman,, Suarez, Rendon, Bryant, Donaldson, Turner, Arenado, and Ramirez are making $10M-34M MORE than him and you want to sell? Don’t see the value in that. Oh, btw, Riley is the youngest of all the above and under team control through 2026. JMO, but I’ll take the hot and cold streaks for now and bet on him continuing to get even better as he gets more experience.
