It’s not easy hitting 8th in the NL. Having the DH would definitely help him but it doesn’t click right away for many people.

I hope not unless he takes a real discount to come back. Shea bats ninth next year with Willie the DH. That gives you a backup catcher and an extra bench bat.

I understand that but got to give these guys a chance. Besides, how did we do this year filling the catchers spot. I say let’s roll with these guys and really build something.
