Coronavirus (No politics)

I feel ok.. I’ve been sweating excessively with no fever today, which seems weird to me. My skin kinda hurts.. like there are needles in my back or something. I don’t have any appetite
Buy a pulse oximeter on Amazon. It goes over your index finger and you can monitor your oxygen levels. If your oxygen levels start dipping, go to the hospital

Saw an interview of a guy in Louisiana, he said….
“I don’t care if anybody is mad at me if I say I want to take the vaccine, I don’t care anymore.”
Sounded like he was feeling judged by friends and family, and was letting them down by getting it.

Take care of yourself, eat food even if you’re not hungry, super hydrate, and try not to worry. Unless you are of poor health or elderly the odds are heavily in your favor for full recovery

Vitamin D might be good too. Would have been a whole lot better to take it all along. FWIW. If your D level is 40 ng/ml you are significantly more immune to Covid, but frankly, you're quite a bit more immune to everything. Everybody is supposed to know this, but it's not very popular to talk about it. Nobody makes any money off it.

I can’t emphasize this enough. I never felt like I had any breathing issue, but I used a pulse oximeter at the advice of someone and watched as my levels were dropping to concerning levels. If they had dropped much more I would have gone to the ER. Also, load up on melatonin if you can.

I’m on like day 6 or so of symptoms. I’ve been to the doc twice including this morning and they’ve taken BP and o2 levels and didn’t mention anything being off. Are you saying melatonin to get to sleep at night?

No, the melatonin has anti-inflammatory properties that some doctors think helps.

Oh awesome. I just happen to have some here beside me. Thanks for that. How many mg and how frequent would you take melatonin?
I think I was taking 10 to 15 mg every night. I read about patients that were given much higher doses while hospitalized with Covid that seemed to rebound more quickly.

That doesn’t appear to be the Covid rapid test that is most commonly being used? Anyone know how commonly the test in the attachment is used?

Ok...so the CDC is giving advanced notice that they are discontinuing a COVID test effective on December 31, 2021 and give no specific reason for doing so. They then recommend labs use a multiplexed test so they can test for COVID and flu on one test instead of two in order to save time and resources. This small market RADIO SHOW HOST then makes his own conclusion, posts it on Twitter, and folks take it as gospel.

And that is how misinformation is born...

No, the test failed it’s review and is being withdrawn. Clear as day
