Looks like the question has moved from “Will he survive?” to “What did it do to his heart and kidneys?”, so that’s a good thing. Kid is in Miami still on a vent and they’re keeping his body cool to help him recover while they access the damage.

Crazy thing is that he was struck only about 10 feet from his Dad who was just required to take a CPR class so he could be a volunteer coach. He literally went to the ground then looked around and saw smoke coming off his kid. He was doing chest compressions within 30 seconds.

It seems like everything has more spin on it tonight. Curveball isn’t moving as much in terms of lateral movement but the spin seems tighter
