Makes no sense. This team's big flaw is they don't have a PG who is elite at setting guys up. The best passers are Bam and Draymond. Pretty stupid.

But they should still beat everybody. They'll get reps together and the D will be better.

Looks like it was bad case of COVID. I recalled him missing the last chunk of the season. Maybe he’s in playing shape.

Given the "super teammate's" pouty facial expressions being glued to the bench for all but 3 minutes of the first two games and his history of faking illnesses when things aren't going his way, I suspect my theory is much more accurate.

If he had any kind of calf injury, he wouldn't have dressed or played those first two games or played as much as he did last game.

If anyone watched him play in 2020-21, you realized it wasn't gonna work.

You got players (cough, Ja, C. Wood, J, Randle, etc., cough) who could contribute to this team now (and in the future) but are ticked off because Team USA passed them over for an injured, replacement level player.

Like it or not, I called it that Love would be hurt, sulk, or suck. I just didn't expect all 3. My "guesses" so far have been based on what's happened in the past with this player and have been spot on this summer.

I don't blame those guys (Turner, Collins, Wood, Randle) now. They made their summer plans once they got passed over.

You were right that Love didn't work out. It doesn't mean the practical alternatives were a better choice. It doesn't mean there wasn't a good reason to try him.

If I'm Christian Wood and I'm already into my athletic peak with a dumpster fire franchise, I'd do whatever I can to be a part of the Olympic team. At this point, he's completely forgettable and there's no immediate pathway to reversing that.

WTF ? McGee hasn't been relevant in at least 5+ years and if Pop is going to take one of his boys with the Spurs, it should have been DeJounte Murray. This is going to be a sh!t show in Japan, they won't win Gold. Hope I'm wrong, tho
