The problem with YouTube and the major news channels is they filter to the top and autoplay. The views counted on the big channels are somewhat skewed. I don't mean that as any direct attack on YouTube or msnbc but that's one of the issues with that metric due to the software features. Interactions and comments are a way to reconcile the validity to the figures. For example, if you see a Jimmy Kimmel video only has 1000 interactions but 2 millions views, then you can fairly say those views aren't accurate. Why does it matter? Marketing, Advertising figures etc.

The metric can be used with channels that aren't filtered to the top like the white house. What'd I'd like to see is a comparison to a Trump fourth of July. It might be similar, idk.

I don't have a clue. The MSM will either not report on the audit results or try to discredit the auditors. It'll probably end up in court where it's anyone's guess. I think there is already a ton of lawyers involved.
