I hope there are more professors like you that stick to the curriculum.

But what is the curriculum teaching? Correct about critical theory and various other things. Further, obviously universities do not allow robust debate over the matters of science. Evolution and a naturalistic worldview are assumed true, and alternative positions are not allowed so that creates a culture of indoctrination. It's also the end of science. Science requires examination and debate, if none is allowed, you don't have science, you have dogma.

Well yeah so long as the curriculum allows for the cultivation of ideas.

Not sure about UT, but other colleges have critical theory in literally every class. Even in the sciences.

Yeonmi Park a North Korean defector who likened wokeness to North Korean propaganda, attended Columbia and said they taught it in every single class. Even Math. She said learning evolution was probably her favorite because it had the least critical theory involved.

Yeah, I don't recall spending much time on topics that would be considered politically charged or potentially in conflict with religious beliefs; it was all nitty gritty material such as equations, mechanics, reactions, etc. (and all of my education was in the northeast prior to heading south for graduate school). Things certainly could've changed or may vary depending on institution, but again my experience here is that the focus is on fundamental concepts.

I don’t think it’s an exaggeration at all. How many kids from conservative middle class families come out of college with radical ideology? I can tell you it’s a lot, and that was also the case 20 plus years ago when I was in school, but thankfully my dad had me prepared for that.

Now, to be fair, I also believe we have to put another critical eye in another foundational direction and ask the question; Why do so many Church going kids fall prey to this indoctrination? Are our Establishment Churches effectively preparing our youth for the battles that will lay in front of them and arming them with the knowledge to confront the enemy? I use everyone of these military terms in the Biblical sense for those unaccustomed.

Easy.

Because they trade one dogma for another.

They rebel against their evangelical upbringing.

I've met a ton of people like that.

It's a failure of the church's to deliver the gospel in a way that translates in the modern world.

But now critical theory is infiltrating the church's...
