So you are going to choose to make people be forced to call someone something they are not even if they want to be? Is that not rude, disrespectful and hypocritical to people who have a right to their opinion about what is and is not reality? Or should people now be forced to affirm and congratulate the man who now says he is Korean because he feels that way and had an operation? Where does it end when we go on how people feel instead of what is? What about a woman who thinks she is a cat? Compassion is great, but it certainly isn't obvious to me that feeding someone's delusions is doing them some sort of favor. It's silly, IMO, to act like widespread acceptance of something that isn't well defined linguistically, much less biologically, is totally fine and won't have any ramifications. We've seen plenty of those ramifications already, including genital mutilation of children.

It's anti-scientific to say transgenderism or gender dysphoria definitely isn't a mental illness just because it is going to hurt people's feelings. Definitions are what they are.

You always bash people that have sex changes or what to be different. Who cares if Joe wants to be sally. It’s what makes that person happy. It’s their life not yours. Why do they have to have a mental disability? That’s not even cool.
I agree when it comes to sports and bathrooms. That’s where with it being a new age thing that there will have to be something figured out. There would have to be testosterone and estrogen test to make sure it’s level playing grounds. I’m just saying just becuz you don’t believe in something doesn’t mean it’s wrong.
I could care less if the European guy wants to be black, Chinese, fat, gay, man or woman. It’s that persons life not mine.

This post has all kinds of wrong in it, but I’ll just touch on this - there’s no testosterone test that will make it fair either. After a male has gone through puberty, his body has changed forever. His bones, ligaments, tendons, muscles, etc will always be different from a female. A guy with super low test levels means next to nothing in the regard.
There is absolutely NO scenario in which a man should compete with a woman in a competitive sport.. especially combat sports

His bones, ligaments, tendons, muscles, etc will always be different from a female. A guy with super low test levels means next to nothing in the regard.
There is absolutely NO scenario in which a man should compete with a woman in a competitive sport.. especially combat sports

As a Christian I have felt judged as a weak minded, sheltered, uneducated idiot that would give up my beliefs if only I were exposed to more places, cultures, and beliefs. Even told that on here. Now I am judged as full of hate because I don't believe a man can become a woman or vice versa because of an operation or drugs. Sure some things change but not the biology. That doesn't mean I hate them or do not empathize with their feelings. But I sure am thankful I am not having to teach the class of 8th grade girls 2 miles down the road that are insisting on being called "they" just because they are on a power trip.

I see. Yeah people a lot smarter than I will figure that out. Maybe it’s hey, once you change your sex you give up the right the participate in sports. There is a clear advantage that is wrong. I wouldn’t want my daughter playing basketball against a man and that man get her scholarship.

No, that got intertwined there. I feel judged because I have religious beliefs. My opinion that biology is fact and feelings do not change that has nothing to do with my religious beliefs even though people like to make it about religion. My opinion that biology is fact should be as accepted as someone else's opinion that how they feel is what determines what they are. We are at a point where we can not discuss opinions.
