President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

This post is nonsense and absolutely none of that is true. I've actually posted all those things on this very board so why would I want Trump impeached for saying the same?
You said since the beginning of covid that it wasn't that big of a deal? If so, Trump should've fired the self proclaimed genius and hired a legit self proclaimed genius such as yourself. No president in our lifetime would've done any different. In fact, it would've been worse. He realized after the fact that Fauci is an idiot and said as much.

No past president dealt with a pandemic with a low death rate that the media and the opposition party claimed was the most dangerous illness in the history of the world either.
Ebola and swine flu. IIRC swine flu was spanish flu 2.0, and ebola may not count due to higher death rate but the details of that are scary AF.

And the reason the media and the Dems were able to freak out was because Trump let Fauci speak. No Fauci, no deep fear, no organized and "science" supported freak out.

I think even without Fauci the media and left leaning Governors and Mayors would have been out of control.

Because again, nothing Trump did was going to be right even if he was right.

I've said it should not be handled as if everyone was going to die and that lockdowns were unnecessary overreaction. To believe no president could have handled it better than Donnie is ridiculous. His leadership and communication skills are neck in neck with Biden for last place

Literally every leader of every civilized country went further than Trump on messaging and POLICY that called for stricter measures in regards to covid.

Literally every? Sweden

But why do I care what other leaders do? We aren't grading in a curve. The fact is Trump failed when given a problem. He was essentially useless

True, Sweden.

Exactly, why do you care, that's why this nonsense that the governors got mixed messaging is just that, nonsense. They run their state.

I've repeatedly said the people needed a consistent message. I've never said the governors needed anything since they answer to their people

No, you nailed it. Why do I care what other leaders do (or say...which is even less to care about).

That is why the governors failed in respect to the conversation on unemployment. Playing it off as poor messaging by Trump is absurd. The governors ( you know....elected adult leaders) had the freedom to handle it as the saw fit.

Oh come on. Yes it could have been handled, but it also could have been handled much worse. He is nowhere near the incompetence of Xiden

Wrong. The dems and the media used covid and are still using it to push an agenda they love the pandemic. It's all about controlling the populous.

Lol, the governors do not answer to their people. For that matter, no politician does.

Trump was on national tv every night for months and could present his plan directly to the American people. I watched for a while but eventually turned it off when I realized he was never going to do anything.

Feel free to blame the govs but you also must admit the potus was incompetent and had no real plan either besides letting Fauci control the WH response. The govs then could claim they were listening to Fauci when making their decisions and no one could really argue. So yes, Trump could have changed the narrative

Trump did plenty poorly. Getting behind stimulus checks was one, and yes, offering up Fauci was another one.

I can admit all that and still believe unemployment was more on governors than him.

You act as if Covid happened in a bubble called the US.
You act like America has always freaked out the same as the world and is always a follower.

We were neither freaked out or following the world's example for Ebola or Swine Flu.

Not to mention the messaging from the media with the governors that went against any thing Trump said, such as Cuomo or Whitmer, to the point they were calling themselves Cuomosexuals. We can objectively say those two were amongst the absolute worst during this stretch of time due to their own decisions. Messaging issues are laid at the feet of the media moreso imo.

According to them sure. But then he went ahead and joined the dumb so what he did was considered wrong by a lot more than the left.

Just like this board doesnt want to admit that Trump had any wrong what so ever. It's the exact same argument, just made from the opposite view point.

I linked an article to Trump supporting the lock down of states and it cant even be acknowledged that Trump might have been in the wrong on the matter.

No president in recent times would've handled it any different. Some would've been far worse. Obama, Bush, and Clinton would've been worse.

Precisely what should he have done? Other than taking away the camera from Fauci?

You act as if you have seen an event in your life comparable to covid, you havent.

Trump could have said nothing or went 100 in either direction and the results in terms of state reactions would have been the same.

Yeah they still would have freaked. But most Americans, even many Dems, wouldnt have cared. Fauci was part of Trumps administration, and came out as chief healthcare expert licensed by Trump to deliver whatever message. People can pretend that Fauci doesnt matter, but clearly to many he did.
