A cult's following can have multiple leaders, but it still involves an excessive admiration and devotion towards one particular person or object. In the case of Scientology, the organization's devotion is structured towards L. Ron Hubbard and his writings. David Miscavige is just the leader of that following. He is not the subject of the organization's principle devotion. More importantly, that devotion would not be self-inclusive in a cult. Service and sacrifice are demanded of cult followers... they never share in the rewards.A cult can have multiple leaders. Scientology is an example.

Yeah... that's fair to point out. It is probably more accurate to say that the Republican Party is moving in the direction of being a cult, but isn't really there yet. Devotion to that particular person is not completely unconditional. Policies such as cutting taxes are expected and they do matter... and the society within the cult does allow for individual prosperity. Cults such as Manson family, the People's Temple, David Koresh and the Branch Davidians in Waco, Heaven's Gate and NXIVM were characterized by forfeiture of personal assets for the benefit of the community as a whole.Let's follow your logic then....the cult of trump as you insist.
I voted for trump. I followed trump. Trump passed a tax cut that specifically put almost 85k more in my pocket last year due to lowering the personal tax bracket and not taxing all pass through income.
I benefitted.
So by your logic following Trump cannot be a cult.

Really?
You cant understand why Americans would buy something that blows up and makes pretty colors in the sky?
I need to introduce you to a thing we like to call Death Shells.
Some, in my neighborhood, like to blow things up from 11 pm to midnight when others like to sleep.
Some think they live their life on an island by themselves & never think of others.

The last one wasn't a puppet.I'm going to be honest, I'm not so sure Biden beat him. I'm not sure I believe anything about our government, been very skeptical for years. But I'm 85% convinced our presidents are nothing more than puppets these days. There is an agenda of division being perpetuated upon the American public, and there's a reason, beyond political power.
