So I read this differently. I see those odds as % chance of us blowing the doors off of a particular opponent rather than just winning. We’re beating every single one of these sum britches this year. Consider it payback time for all the misery. Pitt just happened to make a huge scheduling mistake. Sorry Pitt, we’ve been there. I know that won’t help with the pain of a nationally embarrassing arse whooping…but we understand.

That game will be a declaration to the SEC that we are not going to be the pushover of the last decade. It’s going to be an all out firefight with an air and ground assault that will be totally devastating to behold. You better score every time you get the ball, cause Tennessee absolutely will. Get behind and you won’t catch us!

V.B. Double Gauldens too!
I really wish I could support errything you're saying there, but I just can't. However, BIG like for the enthusiasm and also to encourage....moar. :)

My 2021 schedule predictions that no one asked for:

Vs Bowling Greene: W 38-17
Vs Pitt: W 30-20
Vs Tenn Tech: W 59-0
@ Florida: L 37-17
@Missouri: W 34-31
Vs USCjr: W 48-27
Vs Ole Miss: L 52-42
@Alabama: L 45-17
@kentucky: W 24-13
Vs Georgia: L 31-10
Vs South Alabama: W 41-7
Vs Candy: W 42-10

I think 8-4 is very reasonable, and I think our recruiting will throttle as a result of it
I don't think any team keeps Huep from scoring 3 td's JMO

Boundless optimism for this new version of Tennessee football! Out of the depths of despair known as pruitt/butch/dooley/kiffin football comes a cataclysmic whirlwind of powerful and exhilarating offensive football and aggressive defensive football. Bodies of the opposition players will be tossed like chaff before the wind. Their gloating egos will be crushed. A new era of glorious Orange tinted destruction will rage rampant throughout the land. The Heupel pandemic will have the SEC clamoring for social distancing any time they are on Tennessee’s schedule. It’s a brand new day. And it’s ours! 🤠

You think lsu is more strict about it than other SEC schools?

No, they are probably the strictest in the country. First time, one game, second time half the season, third time whole season. The football program has no real say, its a school policy. The only leeway is the coach can pick specific games for the 1 game suspensions and the half season. Dare got to start and play during the Championship 2019 because of this, magically the starter was nursing a injury during the easy games.

Its not unusual to see 10-15 players not dressed that aren't injured. If you smoke, LSU is probably the last school you would want to go to.

Not sure i would classify this as “breaking news” but Brice is saying Vitello will be a Top 2-3 paid coach in the SEC, close to a 5-year extension, and will be announced with 8 figures in stadium renovations. Didn’t say anything on a timeline or concrete numbers though so I’d say it’s more rumors than breaking news but still good info I guess.

Lol hubbs already said he thinks Vitello will make around the 1.6 million a year and he thinks at least 26 million in reno budget.

Audiobook is coming...

Description of @Bignewt’s book on Amazon:

What if murder wasn't a mystery?

For one young man, it is always decided by a simple code of chance taught to him by his mentor, a gruff truck driver named Petty, who once took him under his wing.

Now a trucker himself, the savant travels the quickest routes coast to coast through 1990s America, listening to the Top 40 Countdown and holding the fate of those he encounters in the palm of his hand.

But are the rules there to allow the natural order to assert itself, or to keep a traumatic past from feeding his dark impulses and spiraling him out of control?

A twisted thriller peppered with dark humor, B.H. Newton's 'The Alternator' is a lean, mean story that just might put a wicked smile on your face. This book is intended for a mature audience and is not suitable for readers under the age of 18.

I am looking forward to the audiobook…best way to read a book if the voice talent is good…

We just kicked someone off the team for weed lol

Oh, I'm not saying another team doesn't kick players off the team. For the record, he wasn't kicked off the team, see my post for the penalties. He is far from the only one this year.

There simply is no leeway for the sport's programs there. Players are finding easier to just enter the portal than they can go where they can smoke. If you think Saban is suspending his 2-year starting left tackle for the season for smoking... I have a Charger to sell ya.

Phil Steele apparently has our season going like this

Bowling Green - W
Pitt - L
Tenn Tech - W
@Florida - L
@Mizzou - L
@USCe - W
Ole Miss - L
@Alabama - L
@UK - L
Georgia - L
South Alabama - W
Vanderbilt - W
I usually agree with Steele, but I disagree with this. I believe we beat Pitt and UK. Heupel is familiar with Pitt as they played in the past. And with KY, well JG is not on this team.

Hell yeah, I usually read about 10 books a year, but I have had so much going on, this year, I've only read graphic novels (a collection of comic books), now I want to read @bignewt 's book. I looked at books at Walmart last night and the only 2 that looked interesting were Bill Clinton and James Patterson's "The President's Daughter" and Matthew McConaughey's "Greenlights", but Newton's "The Alternator" sounds better than both
