We’re on a level with Nebraska and Colorado. You can find video on YouTube of us being good but it’s all grainy and distorted.Ben McKee just said on Swain Event that a recruit he interviewed over the weekend said that "when you think of Tennessee, you don't expect much".
Tennessee just hasn't been good in 20 years.

Old man strong. Even better if paired with country strong. For VN Dads:
I may seem quiet and reserved, but if you mess with my daughter, I will break out a level of crazy that will make your worst nightmare seem like a happy place.
And for the VN elders:
Don’t mess with old people. The older we get, the less “Life in Prison “ is a deterrent.

I feel this way about Lynard Skynard. It might be because I got so sick of Freebird that I could not stand it.

It’s hard to blame the recruit in question when I feel the same way. Coach after coach after coach has failed so spectacularly that it suggests a systemic issue.
It’s definitely Tennessee. Just have to see it to believe it.Who has more potential to rebound to elite status - Nebraska, Colorado, Tennessee?
Even without orange colored lenses, it's UT IMO. Heup/DW know what to do. Give them the resources to go do it. UCF made it to the national stage and conversation without much to go on other that George O'Leary's work. UT can get there over the next few years and remain there with more resources, tradition, etc.
To counter that argument. You old folks only listen to band from the 60s, 70s, and 80s and don't bother with the new stuff because you know you like those bands (nothing wrong with that). Hard rock/metal has expanded so much that it is difficult not to find bands you'd like. Personally I like metal core (metal with clean and rough vocals).I have always found it kinda funny that when people really talk about great bands and music most of the groups mentioned are from the 60's and 70's. Most of todays groups will be forgotten by next week much less talked about 50 or 60 years from now.
I really believe they are building a team for the long run and not trying to plug and play. I have said it before but just look at the OL recruits they are going after. These kids are going to be developed and not placed in a spot just because they have a lot of stars behind their name. The offensive system will attract the players and the being in the SEC and the TV exposure will get us noticed by those kids with stars that can be developed and then help a couple of years down the road. Build it right and you can win for a long time and not just a season or two.Who has more potential to rebound to elite status - Nebraska, Colorado, Tennessee?
