How did he break social distance guidance?I don’t get it.
Mr Hancock had been under increasing pressure to quit, after The Sun published pictures of Mr Hancock and Gina Coladangelo, who are both married with three children, kissing. The newspaper said they had been taken inside the Department of Health on 6 May.
Seriously? You’re asking why a media outlet with an axe to grind published confidential information from an insider source with an equal axe to grind? Have you not been paying attention in the US the last few years or so?Googled. Why was a private newspaper publishing photos from a hidden camera in his government office? That seems shady.

I don't know about the camera. I only saw it described as CCTV. No surprise it was published if someone leaked it.Googled. Why was a private newspaper publishing photos from a hidden camera in his government office? That seems shady.
Oh I don’t know. We had a politically motivated Lt Col that violated protocol and circumvented the chain of command and found sympathetic partisans in Congress that culminated in the sham impeachment of a sitting president. I think there’s even worse stuff that has already happened here than some underling planting his own camera or grabbing footage from an installed camera to get an unpopular Secretary removed. But that’s just me I’d guessA government official with a hidden camera in his office is weird. Said contents leaking to the media is even weirder. Nothing like that comes to mind as having happened in American politics.

If the married official knew about the CCTV cameras and was still plowing his married (to somebody else) co-worker in his office, that’s kind of double amateur hour.I don't know about the camera. I only saw it described as CCTV. No surprise it was published if someone leaked it.
I was mostly amused by the framing of it as a social-distance matter, instead of him kissing/whatever a subordinate who's married.
