The Atlanta Braves

They didn’t rush him back IMO
A couple of weeks ago they tried to spin it as “it has nothing to do with the Achilles’ tendon, it’s perfectly fine!” Then he shreds it... from walking? They either lied to cover their own azzes or their doctors are incompetent. Either way, it’s a pretty big sign that they rushed him back in the spring.

They only though he was going to miss the first 6 weeks or so at most... yes he was rushed

Maybe I’m making mistake assuming they wouldn’t rush back their 23 year old ace after a major injury/surgery. Also if there was anything potentially wrong with the tendon when they went in and removed the sutures they would’ve shut him down. It’s the easy thing to do to blame the organization.

Or he's just got a chronic issue after a freak injury. Don't get the point of pulling medical opinions out our asses and blaming somebody.

Got to be inspiring for an opposing pitcher to see Willie C, Ender, and the pitcher spot hitting in order. Its like taking a lunch break

Why? He might not struggle. RAJ and Oz made the jump easily. It's not like he's going to hit worse than WC.
RAJ made the jump . . . after he had 1,000 MiL ABs and spent time at every level.

Langoliers has spent less than 2 months above A-ball and he's a Catcher. That'd be a tough ask for him to jump to MLB and handle a pitching staff and not be overmatched at the plate.

It would be tough, but I think you give it a shot. You can always send him back down. This line up needs a jolt from somewhere. Willie and Almonte/Ender isn't working.

We are getting shutdown by a 2-10 pitcher with a 5.00 ERA

?

You’d be asking him to do the exact same thing you’re asking Contreras to do. Likely even more prepared as a high level college player.

Did Willy even play at AAA? Not much difference and Shea isn’t young

In case you were wondering, if you spike a huge fever on a Saturday no one gives a **** until Monday morning at 9am

Or Waters and Pache in the lineup. Or add Arcia and Camargo
