Fact or Fiction: Tennessee is in big trouble at the QB position

Farrell’s take: FICTION. Normally I’d say yes with the Vols reaching on Joe Milton in the transfer portal and now with the dismissal of Kaidon Salter but I’m making this fiction because of my belief in
Harrison Bailey.

Hendon Hooker also transferred in. but I’m not a huge fan of his passing consistency.
Brian Maurer is solid but Bailey, the former five-star, is the one who excites me. The question will be if he has enough talent around him to succeed and how big a step he can take in his development. But I still believe you’re as good as your best quarterback, and Bailey is going to be good.

Random drive by... been watching too much football and am going to make a bold prediction

Don’t be surprised to see Cedric Tillman breakout this year. I think he will lead the team in receptions and maybe in yards and touchdowns too. Watching UCF and Missouri they like to feed those big 6’3 ish guys a ton. He reminds me of a Gabe Davis/J’Mon Moore type guy. Tillman has good size and hands but very underrated speed also and can stretch the defense. Hyatt will get his share too but I think he’s gonna be the Tre Nixon/Emmanuel Hall deep threat that just burns you time after time but will probably have fewer receptions. I think Tillman will be your target #1, Hyatt 2, and Velus 3 but I’m not convinced he starts the whole year. I think Payton with a little more size and maybe speed could jump him later in the year. Keyton and Calloway push the starters with Holliday being the wildcard. I don’t think anybody else gets meaningful time this year unless Coby has an amazing fall camp.

There’s your Wide Receiver room analysis.

That’ll be $9.99
How dare you write a post about football in this thread - shocking

My dad was a vet himself and he ran or scared off several boys wanting to date both my sisters when we were growing up, most of the time with a 12 gauge. But I'll never forget the night he got woke up by mom because a guy dating my youngest sister was told to leave by mom and my sister got mad at mom and said she would just leave with him. She was 16 at the time. Dad came out the back door with his robe on and nothing under it. He bent over, picked up a brick, climbed up on the hood of the guy's car with his robe wide open exposing all his junk, and proceded to tell the guy if he made one move to start to move that car, the brick would be shoved thru his windshield and in his mouth. Won't ever forget that night. And no, my sister ended up getting out of the car and never went out with him again.

Hahah. I don’t think our football job is in danger of having a coach taken away. Facilities are up there, not the best but certainly in the top 1/3 of the conference. Baseball was worrying because of how far behind the facilities are.
Our football facilities are as good as anybodies.

I’m trying but it feels like all the news I read even since then has been negative

Lmao. My family were season ticket holders my entire life until 2017. I’ve had basketball season tickets since then, gonna try for baseball. But football is too expensive to keep buying them when the product isn’t great
Tennessee Volunteer football is not a "product" to me. I am a Vol because my family goes back 217 years in East Tennessee...My blood runs deeply orange.

He should have drank your mom’s foremilk for good measure.
