So in other words you're admitting (1) prices were good under Obama, (2) Trump totally mucked it up, and (3) it's Biden's job to fix it in 5 months despite a temporary disconnect between supply (lowered by Trump's incompetence in dealing with the virus) and demand (caused by Biden's growth creating policies).

What an argument for Republican leadership!

not surprised you can't follow logic and reality.

but it is interesting that you argue Biden can't change economic fortunes in 5 months even though you give him credit for any good economic news. Interesting, telling but no surprise.

Prices went up because of the fear porn being pushed by the covid worshipping morons. Trump's only incompetence was allowing people like Fauci a minute of airtime

True or false: lumber prices more than doubled from the start to the end of Trump's term?

True or false: Assuming prices settle at $800, lumber prices will not be up substantially from the start of Joe's term?

I think I heard it was $600B? And specifically focused on actual infrastructure too. We do need to reinvest in our actual hard infrastructure and it was lapse of Trump to not pass anything significant in his term. Need to see the details but if they actually did what they claimed in their joint press conference it’s actually the most normal they have been in a long time.

True or false: lumber prices went up 2.4x during Biden's term and are still 12.5% higher than when he took office?

True of false: lumber prices are projected to remain higher (800) than they were when Joe took over (700)?

#1 True (not surprising given that Trump had four years to create problems that will take time to fix)

#3 True (not surprising as commodity prices generally increase over time when not adjusted for inflation)

1686 is 2.4x 700; my bad on the second # - it's much worse for Biden (almost 27% higher)

On #3, inflation isn't running at 14% (not yet at least but I have faith Biden) so Biden's lumber world will be significantly higher than Trump's and exceed inflation unless Joe can catch up the inflation on other items to what he'll do for lumber.
