When you click on that item you can scroll down to the specs section and it'll say #1 best seller in digital voice recorders. Click on that and it will give you a list of the top 100 best sellers...on Amazon.I’m apparently not Tech savvy enough to fully grasp how you order lists looks compared to mine. For me, #6 is listed as the best seller
EVISTR 16GB Digital Voice Recorder Voice Activated Recorder with Playback - Upgraded Small Tape Recorder for Lectures, Meetings, Interviews, Mini Audio Recorder USB Charge, MP3
My biggest question would be if you do want it to double as an MP3 player, is 16 GB large enough to store the music you want and whatever voice recordings you keep/make. Depends how large your voice recordings are and how much music you want.
It says it'll hold 10,000 songs. I'm good if it just holds a couple hundred. Even less actually. I'll only use it for music while walking. I'll use it mostly as a recorder.
Biggest issue with that one is not really that big of a deal, but it has the smallest screen of the 3. It's really small. I've never heard of any of the 3 brands.
I'd love one of the Sony's but the one in my price range only has 4gb and the screen isn't backlit. It takes 2 AAA batteries and I'm not sure if that's a positive or not. I think a rechargeable would work best.
