My biggest question would be if you do want it to double as an MP3 player, is 16 GB large enough to store the music you want and whatever voice recordings you keep/make. Depends how large your voice recordings are and how much music you want.

When you click on that item you can scroll down to the specs section and it'll say #1 best seller in digital voice recorders. Click on that and it will give you a list of the top 100 best sellers...on Amazon.

It says it'll hold 10,000 songs. I'm good if it just holds a couple hundred. Even less actually. I'll only use it for music while walking. I'll use it mostly as a recorder.

Biggest issue with that one is not really that big of a deal, but it has the smallest screen of the 3. It's really small. I've never heard of any of the 3 brands.

I'd love one of the Sony's but the one in my price range only has 4gb and the screen isn't backlit. It takes 2 AAA batteries and I'm not sure if that's a positive or not. I think a rechargeable would work best.

I don’t see an issue with #1 or #4, but #19 is just a glorified flash drive? Don’t see the excitement there. That said, I don’t recognize the brands either. I was thinking .wav files (for the voice recordings) would take up a lot more space than they do. But apparently I’m wrong. You could have 14 hours of voice recordings and still have room for 7 gb of songs (around 2400 average length songs)

I just noticed the rankings changed. Lol, 19 is now 20 and unavailable. So whatever 19 you're seeing isn't the one I was looking at.

Crazy. I've watched videos and most of them don't record instantly, you press record and it takes like 5 seconds to start recording. I can see that getting annoying. One was instant and now I can't remember which one. Lol.

I hate this kind of crap. That's probably why I gave up on the mp3 player and probably gonna give up on this.

I could handle a two second delay or so, but five does seem ridiculous. I stream music off my phone, so I don’t need an MP3 player. Although I still use my classic iPod in my car from time to time

I bit the bullet. Ordered this one because just as I had decided to give up it showed up with a lightening deal for $28. Comments say it has a 3-4 second delay but that's the only negative about it. Amazon is really good about returns if I just can't stand it. Done deal. Thanks for your input, I guess everyone else can kiss my butt.

Was in the fridge all day, you can see the olive oil is congealed but look at the color.

I swear man, Al79 is working on my nerves because its not just him, his threads attract others just like him. If I had the power I'd blow up that whole thread and errbody in it. There's gators and Bammers in there too.
