I’m on the golf course in Nashville with vendors for a charity event this morning and I don’t golf; therefore I had no issue taking two shots of Fireball at 8:45am at the sponsor tent on our 3rd hole. Side note, it’s so cool to see all the orange out here this morning. I’d estimate that 25% of the participants are rocking something UT this morning. This team is truly putting a stamp on the state.

CTV would much rather wait until the end of the season to negotiate. Why negotiate now?

Current accomplishments:
  • SEC East regular season champs
  • Finished 2nd in SEC Tournament
  • 2nd seed in NCAA tournament
  • Hosted a Regional
  • Won to Regional
  • Host a Super Regional
  • First NCAA team to win 40 games in 2021
  • Fastest Tennessee baseball coach to 100 victories
  • Won every SEC road series
  • Only lost two SEC series
  • Never swept in an SEC series
  • Current RPI #2
  • Current winning percentage 75%, (48-16).
  • Leads the SEC in ERA - 3.42
  • ERA - 8th nationally - 3.42
  • Base on Balls - 5th nationally - 323 in 64 games
  • Double - Tied for 5th nationally - 128 in 64 games
  • Hits - 3rd nationally - 624 - 64 games & 2,221 ABs
  • Home Runs - Tied 4th nationally - 92 in 64 games
  • HR per game - 17th nationally - 1.44 in 64 games
  • Runs - 8th nationally - 452 in 64 games

I watch a lot of baseball, the fans were “accountable “ this weekend...
that said, as Vandy Fan Mike Rapp pointed out, they expect super regionals, so why bother?

They would say, you got lucky this year, enjoy it, happy for ya, except they don’t.

Make no mistake. We Are Crashing The Party! We were not invited, we climbed the ladder and they can’t handle the rain, all we can do is keep on Animal House style!!!!
