I'm with you on that, I don't think they could have hid even a million deaths. I also agree that we'll never get the truth, both China and the western democracies would never let that see the light of day.

That would be 0.1% of their population and many of those would have died in that time span regardless of covid. I think they can and did.

The true numbers will never be revealed. The virus originated in Wuhan with a population of roughly 11 million people. That amount of people is pretty much on par with Los Angeles. If C19 originated in LA do you think only a few thousand people would have died? The statistics released from China are false.

It would be extremely hard to hide it. The Chinese people are not completely cut off from the outside world.

I'd imagine what they wrote is in line with the authors statements and quotations are accurate.

But I'm sure if it was an anonymous source you would trust the accuracy of their statements.

Covid hits the old and or obese/sick hard.

How big is their obese population?

I believe you are misunderstanding me. If they had a million extra people die between Dec 2019 and June 2020 the Chinese citizenry would have noticed. Someone would have gotten the information out.

I think that would be about a 10-15% increase. If you knew of 10 people that died in a normal year, you now knew 11 to 11.5 people that died. I dont think you noticed the difference from one year over another.

I'm suspecting that having a limit on children who's parents barely want one isn't going to change things a whole lot. I think we've achieved peak population and we're going down from here.

But they are packed in pretty tight in the cities, too many eyes would see the bodies being loaded up.

Reducing the earths population by 15-20% would be a good thing.
