deGrom's name was always thrown in as the kicker during the Harvey/Wheeler/Syndergaard/deGrom discussion days, when Mets fans thought they were going to win 7 out of the next 10 World Series with that pitching staff. Not only did he end up being the best of the 4, he's the only one left basically.
