The media severely damaged their credibility over the last four years. There’s not a better example than the Wuhan lab story and the miraculous flip in attitudes and reporting.

The more interesting question to me is who is going to be self aware enough to admit their attitudes and opinions were shaped by misinformation and outright lies from entities that failed to do their primary job of reporting facts and evidence?

And this Russia story makes for a good test case. The same standard that was applied to Trump and about a dozen others (including Tulsi) is now being ignored for Biden. Who is self aware enough to call Biden out? Or at least admit they were misled and influenced by emotional narratives.

Report: Biden Plans to Hide Gang History of Foreign Nationals Seeking Green Cards in U.S.

A reported plan by President Joe Biden’s administration would hide the gang history of a foreign national seeking a green card to permanently resettle in the United States and eventually be eligible for American citizenship.

Center for Immigration Studies Director of Regulatory Affairs and Policy Robert Law writes that a source with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) reveals that Biden administration officials are planning to throw out Trump-era provisions that screen out the gang history of green card applicants.

Specifically, the Trump administration had sought to add two questions to applications for green card-seeking foreign nationals already in the U.S. on visas. Those questions ask applicants to detail, if any, their history with crime and gangs:

Intelligence officials reportedly told President Biden computer analysis may reveal the Coronavirus’s origin.

“The inquiry has not reached a dead end, a senior Biden administration official said,” The New York Times reported Thursday night. “Officials would not describe the kind of computational analysis they want to do.”

Biden’s officials would not describe the new evidence to the Times, but “the revelation that they are hoping to apply an extraordinary amount of computer power to the question of whether the virus accidentally leaked from a Chinese laboratory” suggests, as the Times reports, that more Chinese communications data should be examined to analyze “the movement of lab workers and the pattern of the outbreak of the disease around the city of Wuhan.”

Well that is rather frightening. Our IA can track the movement of lab workers in China, then they are tracking you. Not sure the NYT thought this thru.
