I set the cruise control unless I am driving in an area where speed limits change back and forth. Generally know how fast I am driving within plus or minus 2 or 3 mph.

30 over in TN is "supposed" to be a mandatory Reckless Driving plus a court appearance. You got lucky. You're fortunate you don't drive a rocket like an Accord, Maxima, etc. I can punch my wife's Maxima at 60 and be doing 120 by the time I get around a semi on the interstate.

Many truck lines limit their drivers to 69 mph. At 70 they get warnings and then it escalates from there. Found that out from our last movers.
