Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Just like in football; some MDs are a hell of a lot better than others....Always check what medical school they attended. That will tell you a hint as to their qualifications.

What do you call the person who graduates dead last from medical school?

Doctor.

If you listen to Fauci then you're being played. Did you believe Fauci when he said his wearing two masks (after being fully vaccinated) was NOT theater? Did you believe him when he said vaccinated people could hug someone but not eat in a restaurant or travel? Do you believe our country has not sent money to Wuhan lab for Covid research?

If so they you've believed in a lot of BS in your time
Vaccinated people can still spread COVID to unvaccinated people. Vaccinated people wearing masks, sometimes 2, to not spread COVID to unvaccinated people isn't theater.

Vaccinated people hugging other vaccinated people isn't theater. It's a benefit of being vaccinated and not having to worry about COVID.

Once I’ve had my second shot, I’m done wearing a mask. Even now, I’m wearing a mask as a courtesy because my employer still requires it and other businesses haven’t lifted their own mask requirements.

Between the vaccination and actually having had Covid, I’m immune and and pose no real danger to anyone.

You emotionally driven Karens just stay the **** home and stay out of our way.

Guess the CDC is wrong about mask wearing then...

I would actually strongly disagree with this take. I trained with several colleagues who had graduated from "Ivy league"/prestigious medical schools, and they seemed no more prepared than those from state schools. In fact, I believe I had a lot more hands-on experience from UT, especially when it came to more risky/complicated patient care (surgical procedures, delivering babies, etc). Now, if you are referring more to international schools or the least-reputable in the U.S., those might attract less qualified candidates. The information is all the same, you just need a good spectrum of specialties and facilities available.

The quality of Residency and Fellowship programs becomes increasingly important in surgical subspecialties, so this is more applicable to your thinking.

Honestly, I think experience and dedication to life-long learning are perhaps most important for the majority of disciplines.

If vaccinated people can spread the virus why are they hugging other vaccinated people? There's still a chance they could kill grandma. Does no one care about human life any more?

At least 70% of the House is fully vaccinated, that's not including those that aren't disclosing or have had at least one shot. How would the House become a petri dish? Does the vaccine work or not?

Plus you have more who've been infected (Massey comes to mind) so the total immunity is likely within the herd immunity window (even the revised Fauci one).

In addition, the mask wearing rules are limited to being on the floor (public eye).

It's not a binary proposition. Why do we keep reverting to binary thought processes for non-binary situations?
Since options now exist to manage your own healthcare situation with regards to COVID how about we go back to everybody managing their own situation and mind their own business then?

Odd, I seem to be able to enjoy the same benefit and am not vaccinated.

Enjoy life bubble boy.

So long as the expectation is there for truthfulness and transparency should the need arise for contract tracing.

No. GTFO with that. If you’re worried about COVID you have direct affirmative options to lower your risk of contracting the disease regardless of what somebody else choses. You have no right to impose any “prove your vaccinated” narrative on anybody as far as I’m concerned.
