This one has to take the cake for dumb unwritten baseball "rules". Coach didn't even take up for his own young player.

If I was this kid and I got a chance to come to bat with the game on the line, I might just intentionally strike out and see what my manager had to say about that. Those comments, by his manager, are just plain ole stupid. He doesn't want to hurt the opponents feelings because you're kicking their a$$. If you get offended by losing big, nut up and try to get better.

Dollywood is a fantastic place. Blows Six Flags away. Not really in terms of rides but park cleanliness and employee attitudes are 2 of its strongest qualities. Just below the cinnamon bread of course.🤯😁
Agreed. We get passes every year now. Our kids love it and it’s a fraction of the cost of the other places.

Hugh Jackman was never someone I would've thought could sing but he is great. Also loved him in The Greatest Showman.
Yeah, he’s done a bunch of musical theater, even won a Tony. Saw a news item recently that he’ll be playing Prof HH in a revival of The Music Man on Broadway this coming winter. I could see him doing a good job with that.

We have some real issues in the schools today. Maybe they’ve always existed, but seems like there are so many more issues with kids now vs when I was a kid. Saddens me.
Not sure what specifically you're referencing, but here's a huge positive that rarely gets mentioned, which should help push up graduation rates. This should also lead to more future generations not dealing with young unprepared parents, especially single parents (another metric that is decreasing):

MLB needs to quit worrying about Transgender Laws and all their stuffy crap about "unwritten" rules and let the young kids play. If it's a rule, write it down. If it ain't written down, it ain't a rule. Give me a break.

They have to win 4-5 games in 5 games..... that’s a lot to ask of your staff..... like I have said the main goal is making it to Omaha.
Then they need to add an extra week between the end of conference and the start of regionals. Giving teams excuses to not try to win is lame and not good for the game.

My daughter works at Dollywood. She doesn't work at the park though. She works in their marketing department. She's in digital marketing. Handles their social media amongst other things.
Where were you when I took my two Caniacs this year!! Just joking we had a great time and loved staying at Dream More Resort!!!!

That’s infuriating... that unwritten rule makes zero sense anyways. Is the team that is behind giving up? If not, the leading team should keep playing hard as well.
