Yeah, Blah that crap is drivel!Good movie. Then Russell Crowe thought that Le Miserable would be a good movie to add to his resume and he was so very wrong.
I don't know your dad and I don't mean this disparingly, but that's really nothing to be proud of. Funny that this child beating topic follows right on the heels of the alcoholism discussion.
Damn good movie. Are u not entertained
So totally different. In 2nd grade, I ended up consoling my Mother after she spanked me. I told her (as she cried) that it would be okay. Also that the spanking didn’t really hurt.
She found out very quickly that her telling me that she was disappointed in me was the absolute worst punishment. (Single Mother)
Was much worse than any corporal punishment, losing privileges, being grounded. My Mother worked so hard to make ends meet that her being disappointed was truly awful.
“My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, Commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Allegiance, and loyal servant of the emperor Marcus Arrelius. Husband to a murdered wife, father to a murdered son... and I will have my vengeance in this life, or the next”![]()
I love love love Les Mis as a show and the music from it too, and overall I really liked Tom Hooper’s approach with the movie. But casting Crowe in such a pivotal role was such a glaring shithole in the film it damn near took the whole thing down.Yes. Whatever talent agent or producer that thought he could sing was way wrong.
If you have three girls like my two girls then I can kinda understand that. I never really had to physically discipline them very much...but...If you had a child like my boy though...Don't get me wrong. Anyone who chooses to discipline their kids with whoopins is OK in my book. I just found that there was a more effective discipline for my kids. Telling them that their actions had disappointed us was far worse than any whooping would have been. Some kids need physical punishment and some need alternative. Whatever works best for your kids is what you should do. As long as it comes from a place of love then you will almost always be on the right side of things.
Lol...sounds like the difference between my son and two girls...only he came first. What is funny is he was an angel till he was around two, then his horns came out..Kids are different. Some really demand it. Others you can just look disappointed, and that's enough. I had the two extremes. Most are somewhere between. Can't remember if it was Dobson, author of The Strong Willed Child, or someone else, but he was telling about going around to churches giving advice on how to raise kids properly. Worked great until he had the 4th one who none of his advice worked for.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Crowe’s a very talented actor, but he just doesn’t have the pipes for a musical, at least not that one, and it really stands out against everyone else in the film.
On the other hand, Eddie Redmayne was a damn revelation as Marius. And whatever I thought about Anne Hathaway before, I’ll never speak ill of her again.
My daughter works at Dollywood. She doesn't work at the park though. She works in their marketing department. She's in digital marketing. Handles their social media amongst other things. She seems OK. She is working at Splash Country. Thank you for asking. She says her leg is sore but that is not surprising. The deputy said the guy passed a field sobriety test and that's the last I heard.
