Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Remember when the Branch Covidians were losing their minds over the crowded beaches at Spring Break? Of course, those same alarmist idiots were claiming millions would get sick and die after the Sturgis rally and Trump’s OKC rally.

Tulsa actually.

Been hearing it for a year and a half. Still waiting on the super bowl surge to kill grandma

People have woken up in a lot of places and have seen the ridiculousness for what it is. Take the graduations we're finishing up. I'd say at least 80% if not more of the friends and families attending are going without a mask. Now, I'm no rocket surgeon but I know the inoculation rate is nowhere near that high.

No masks, no social distancing and pretty much no care given.

People are tired of this and are ready to move on.

Sounds like you got lucky. It's your perogative if you want to roll the dice with a disease that's killed over 400k people.

I am a business owner going on 20 years now. I roll the dice every day.

And unless you are like 80 or have a weak immune system you arent dying.

Those are the statistical facts.

Y’all are arguing logic vs religion. The vaccines may turn out to be the greatest thing ever but they’re still experimental and not yet fda approved for a illness with a >99% survival rate. The COVID religious side sees it diffently.
1. Virus= original sin
2. Mask = baptism
3. Vaccine = sanctification
There is no amount of evidence that will overturn these beliefs for a large portion of the populace.

To those who are not fans of Tucker Carlson, here is corroborating evidence that he is speaking the truth:

PolitiFact Quietly Retracts Fact Check Of COVID-19 Wuhan Lab Theory

Folks, this media/big tech manipulation of the media is real and this is one example of it. Word to the wise: do not believe what the MSM is feeding you and don't be surprised if big tech blocks the evidence to prove them wrong.

And why is Facebook/Instagram still banning the mention of her claim? People better wake up. There are some ill intentions with some of these companies. They got us all fighting each other while also silencing who they want.

You speak the truth and not enough is being said about this. Liberals will say to a conservative "prove it" but when Twitter, FB and Google block this kind of stuff, it's almost impossible to prove. This happened all the time during the election. For example Trump Tweeted "coronavirus is less deadly than the flu for certain populations" and Twitter pulled it as being a lie. I can't show you the proof because it was pulled but it did happen and what he said was the truth

The hospitals are on the verge of exploding! Not enough beds! Ventilators are running out! Indian variant! We're all right and totally ****ed!
At the time you posted this I was walking through a 17 bed ICU and then the step down units. Not one covid in an underserved area. Population 50% black, 40% white and the rest a combination of Hispanic and phillipino.

Leaving it up to the parents is how it should be.
Nope, not when it comes to vaccinations. Parents who choose to expose their children to entirely preventable diseases by not having them vaccinated should have their kids taken away.

Also, it looks like you've quoted a lot of my comments. That's fine, but you should know @NorthDallas40 will get jealous.

So get the flu shot for your kids, or lose them?

Remember flu is far more readily for children than Covid is.

The flu vaccine is a little different in that it's not nearly as effective as other vaccines. You can get the flu shot and there's still a good possibility of you getting the flu.

COVID, MMR, Polio aren't like that and they should be mandatory.

To further expound IF the flu vaccine were 90% effective it should be mandated. Can you imagine if the flu were eradicated?

Unfortunately it's only about 50% effective, so it's hard to mandate something that isn't reliable.

Looks like Walmart (the ones out here at least) have removed the mandatory mask requirement.
It’s a corporate decision. My store lifted it for fully vaccinated associates last Tuesday. We don’t have to “prove” we’re fully vaccinated unless we want a $75 incentive.
