Anyone have a TV recommendation? Just moved into a new home and wanting to upgrade from a 65" sony bravia that I just bought two years ago to a 75". 65" would go to the bonus room for the kids/gaming etc. There would be no game consoles hooked to the 75" in the living room. It's a light room, both paint and plenty of windows.

Looking for something good with HD movies and most importantly sports.
Better get a good refresh rate for a TV that big. Native 120hz.

Go to Best Buy and look for the open box section. I got a 65” Samsung for 380 bucks and it was practically brand new

I've had a 70" Sharp Aquos TV for a few years and have never had an issue with it. I've got it hooked up to a Bose Surround Sound system and it's off the charts. When I watch golf, the spectators and birds chirping sound like they're in my house. When I watch NASCAR, and I crank it up, I get a weird look from my wife :):):)

I was in the meat business for over 40 years and I can tell you that dry aging is not for everyone. Some five star restaurants and some upscale stores dry age ribeyes, strips and short loins by placing them in special temperature controlled enclosed cases. Some even keep them there for 60 days and all it does is break down muscle tissue and dry out the beef. Shrink is phenomenal and the retail price is ridiculous. Some people think it improves the taste but I'm not one of those people. Beef, if cooked properly, is best when it's not over cooked or dry. But hey----I'm just an old meat head who retired from the profession :cool::cool:
Yeah the shrink is worrisome.

It's as much an experiment for me as anything. I want to try dry aging and then butter aging after that. Then do a comparison. Some say butter aged even outdoes dry age...but that's even more money down the drain. Probably will be a 1 time thing for the butter aged.

Meanwhile I'll be out trying to catch me some cicadas to eat 🙃
