Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

The article covers the long term side effects some children are experiencing after being diagnosed with COVID, explicitly stating that often these children never wind up in a hospital but suffer from home. It's clear you know how to cherry pick things that support your stance as opposed to looking at the overall facts of a given situation.

Did the article also do a piece on how more people are dying from the covid vaccine?

You know, since that is true.

The point is that the article is lacking data to support its claims. If the claims are about something that is rare then that would explain the lack of data

It’s clear that you don’t actually understand data driven analysis one damn bit and just have dumbass hyperbolic emotional pleas to reply with 🤡

Knox county over the past 5 days averaged 9 new cases per day.

But hurry and go get your 14 year old vaccinated per HHS. Unbelievable.

My three kids will not be getting the vaccine. My wife and I got the vaccine but I see no reason for kids to get it. Covid poses no statistical risk for them.
I reason that:
- the people I and my wife are around the most that have the most risk (as in, my parents) have the gene therapy;
- we are both young and healthy and have an almost zero chance of having issues should we contract the virus (if we haven't already);
- I would much rather contract the virus and develop a natural immunity than deal with a drug, therefore;
- no vaccine for me.

I agree with this position too. I got the vaccine mainly to have my mom stop b*ing about it. I am healthy 40 year old so I wasn’t worried about COVID.

The number of people who's risk tolerance has gone to zero is fascinating. The overlap of this group with those that have little to no fear allowing the government control more of their lives is doubly fascinating.
The silly thing is it is a zero risk tolerance over one thing that is much less likely to kill them than any number of other things they do day to day. Overall, there is less than a .002% chance of dying from COVID, and realistically it's likely even lower for most people.

This was posted where I live(Florida)
Before today, it had said masks were required.

I mean by this logic you should wear a mask forever. They're migrating from "covid will kill us" to "airborne diseases will kill us". As those probably aren't disappearing anytime soon prepare to stay masked until your funeral.

Actually by the logic in the second sentence we should have been wearing masks all along.

I don't have to cherry pick -- while you have apparently been honing your expertise in virology, I've actually been diagnosing and caring for children with CV19.

Yes and I'm sure you telling their parents that they didn't need to get vaccinated was grade A advice doc.

Dad had Covid back in thanksgiving. Mom pressured him into the vaccine. Got the first moderna vax on Tuesday. Still dealing with side effects. Flu like symptoms mostly. More than 2 full days of a fever.
