Years ago an RV dealer was trying sell me a camper that was "1/2 ton towable" and asked him if was 1/2 ton stopable. He got the weirdest look on his face like he wanted to hit me or something.

I think you referenced that months ago and how net pollution was actually worse since fuel mileage was much worse...iirc.

Yeah my F150 is a max tow optioned truck and is rated to tow about 12k+ and I can tell you after towing about 6k across the west there is no way in hell that I would tow any more than that with the grocery getter F150.

My manager about many ago calls me late one evening with "what u got planned tommorow? I was like uhhhh. You mind using the company truck and picking up a quick response load in Bristol from our shop in Chatt.?" Suckered...drove some long ass trailer up there to pick up and coming back and it was throttle to the floor the whole time and could barely make highway speed and breaking was worthless. I was pure momentum, My butt was puckered. What a long ass day.

But it will tow that 6k with style and grace! All kinds of power. I don’t even notice less than 1000 lbs in the bed or 3000 lbs on the bumper. Barely know my bass boat is back there when I’m pulling it

The internet is great, but it needs borders so we can cut off access to unfriendly countries. We also need to keep the Chinese at home and bring our industry back ... it's just a matter of time before the Chinese nationalize foreign industry anyway.

I have said before that the CCP is the greatest threat to our prosperity, more than anything., sans deficit spending. Just like with the tariff nonsense we have dealt with on here. And in all of this, our very own corporate, gov, and institutions support this monetary greed, while the DOD, many intel agencies fight for budgets that are counter. Such a mixed message.

Depends on the ship. The CG have some bad ass littoral/surf ships that look like a hoot to drive. Plus they have confiscated go-fast cigarette types for drug interdiction
